What life-long profound and comprehensive discipline have you engaged in to enable you to presume to lecture others on how they should live?

Who were/are your LIVING Spiritual Teachers? Such Teachers being necessary to guide you and more importantly to challenge you to examine ALL of your ideas and opinions about quite literally everything.

Have you been humbled by your own sweat and suffering?

If you read the biographies of the great Saints and Realizers from all of the traditions you will find that most of them went through a profound ordeal of struggle and testing until they came to their Spiritual maturity—it often took decades.

You are mortal and entirely subject to the Mercy of The Divine. You own nothing and know nothing. There is not anything to be believed that is the Truth.

You must be touched in your feeling by the unspeakable suffering of this world, and thus become broken hearted. It is only on that basis that you can truly serve others.

Everything else is just an extension of your own unexamined obnoxiousness, and your drive to achieve power and control over others.

What if the religion that you subscribe to has nothing whatsoever to do with The Divine?

What if the religion that you subscribe to is a collective cultural mechanism that has effectively reduced The Divine to an objectified thing, and thus made god the slave of the cultural collective and has thus effectively destroyed the Divine.

And which also has just used The Divine to justify the inevitable slaughters committed by this power seeking collective cultural entity?

Plus my recommendation would be to run as fast as you can away from any “religion” that uses that horrific sado-masochistic image of a tortured broken body nailed to a cross, as a symbol for its message (and thus as a recruiting tool).

Is God in any sense a builder anyway?

Doesnt everything just appear spontaneously and organically, especially in the case of living biological organisms of all kinds—from cells to giant redwoods.

Building implies a very clockwork mechanical universe. And also a “god” that is separate and outside of what is being built. And yet ALL of creation, every single bit of i, arises spontaneously as an indivisible unity.

Such a statement implies that you are intimately familiar with the infinite creative intelligence in which all of this appears. The intelligence that wields the entire universe and explodes supernovas for breakfast, and also murders 300,000 human beings in a Tsunami (was that part of “god’s” plan?)

Perhaps the “kingdom” that your “god” is building is really just an extension of the brutalities pointed at and described in these two references.

As though, in a time when all of the Sacred Texts of the entire Great Tradition (and every possible philosophical point of view too) of humankind are freely available to anyone with an internet connection, the Bible (or more pointedly your interpretation of it) was/is the only source of Truth in the world.

Implying of course that only you and your fellow true believers have access to (or own) the “truth” and that everyone else is living in darkness until they are converted by you and your fellow “righteous” true believers.
